This type of scam occurs on WhatsApp, where scammers impersonating Oklute representatives reach out to advertisers, promising activation of top products, upgrades, or “VIP” services in exchange for payments made outside our platform.

Important Notice:

When legitimate Oklute operators contact advertisers, they always ask for the unique advertiser code as a means of verification. This code is only available to authorized Oklute operators and the advertisers themselves through their dashboards.

What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Message:

If you receive a suspicious message, please report it to Oklute immediately. Gather as much evidence as you can, including:

• The telephone number of the individual who reached out to you
• Screenshots of your conversation with the scammer
• Any other pertinent information

This information is crucial for us to identify the scammers and take necessary action. Your cooperation helps us maintain a secure platform and protect our community.
